Volunteering
Grapevine Project offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities. If you are interested, call Julie on 01298 72283 or use the contact us form.
Volunteering in the cafe

Volunteering in the cafe involves supporting the staff and customers during normal opening hours. The cafe is a friendly and non-judgemental place where volunteers can gain experience in catering and also get some additional qualifications, such as Basic Food Hygiene.

Buddying

Buddying is all about providing one-to-one support for our service users. Volunteer Buddies work with a limited number of people and help them to achieve specific goals. The work can be both challenging and rewarding and requires commitment. No specific qualifications are required, just the ability to listen, be supportive and work with and maintain boundaries

Volunteering in the office

Volunteers can gain a wide range of experience in our busy office on St James Terrace. In addition, they can gain qualifications in basic office skills to boost their chances of paid work.
Allotment Volunteers

Our allotment is based in Fairfield and we are always grateful to any volunteers who can spare some time to help us develop and maintain the site.
