The Grapevine Project ....helping people with mental health issues and emotional problems since 2003.

As many as 1 in 4 people will suffer from a mental health problem at some time in their lives.

We run a community cafe and a wide range of support groups, activities and a one-to-one counselling service to help people in the High Peak of Derbyshire cope better with their lives. Grapvine Project helps people to move on through participation in our groups, activities or through voluntary work in our office, cafe, allotment or in the community.

The cast of Victoria Wood's 'Dinnerladies' visited the Grapevine's Community Cafe recently. The visit came about because one of the cast members is the niece of our CEO. Emily Butterfield, who is playing Twinkle in the stage version of one of the UK's favourite sitcoms, brought along fellow cast members to the cafe to meet our service users and to present two complimentary tickets to competition winner David Hoyle. Can you help us?
Grapevine Project specialises in helping those with mental health issues cope with their lives. As a small charity, we depend on volunteers to support our limited number of paid staff. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed people to join our board of trustees. We are especially interested in attracting someone with marketing and fund raising experience. If you think you might have what we are looking for, call Mark Smith on 01298 72283 or email mark@grapevineproject.org  to arrange an informal chat.

Angry, Anxious or Depressed?

Grapevine Project is offering Anger or Anxiety Management Clasess and a Depression Relief Class. Phone 01298 72283 or contact us for more details.

Classes are run throughout the year and are free to attend.

Grapevine's Service User Group

Do you want to have your say about what the Grapevine is and what it does? If so, why not join the Service User Group and give your voice an airing? The group is independent of the management of the project and will report it's views directly to the trustees, who in turn have a duty to listen and react. Interested? Give you name and contact details to any Grapevine member, volunteer, staff member or trustee.
