The Grapevine Project ....helping people with mental health issues and emotional problems since 2003.

As many as 1 in 4 people will suffer from a mental health problem at some time in their lives.

The Hub

The Grapevine's recently refurbished support centre is now open(see panel right). Call the office on 01298 72283 if you want any more details.

Donate

You can now make an online donation by clicking on the donations tin on the right. This will take you to the 'Charities Aid Foundation' website. Then simply follow the instructions to help support Grapevine's work. We need your help to help us to continue to support people with mental health issues.

FearFighter now available!

FearFighter is a method for delivering CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) on a computer (via the internet). Research has shown that FearFighter improves anxious or phobic patients as much as face to face therapy.

FearFighter is an online therapy and can be accessed from home, the office or even the local library. This convenience and confidentiality provides a solution for many sufferers who may be concerned about the stigma associated with seeing a therapist. Taking only three months to complete, with minimal telephone support through the process, FearFighter provides clinically proven improvements for sufferers with close to zero computer skills. If you want to know more visit the FearFighter website or call 01298 72283.

Can you help us?
Grapevine Project specialises in helping those with mental health issues cope with their lives. As a small charity, we depend on volunteers to support our limited number of paid staff. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed people to join our board of trustees. We are especially interested in attracting someone with marketing and fund raising experience. If you think you might have what we are looking for, call Mark Smith on 01298 72283 or email mark@grapevineproject.org  to arrange an informal chat.

Grapevine Project and the BACP
Grapevine is now a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). One of our counsellors recently became BACP accredited. All of our qualfied counsellors are MBACP and our trainee counsellors are all student members of the BACP. Click on the BACP logo to learn more about this important professional body.
