About Us
The Grapevine Project was established in 2003 as charity to provide support to those suffering from mental distress in and around Buxton.
Grapevine Project runs a community cafe, a number of activities and groups which aim at helping those with problems or issues live more productive and fulfilling lives.

Our Goal

Our services are designed to help us to honour our commitment to support people in their community. Our staff and volunteers have a wide range of experience and offer both social and therapeutic support to those with mental health problems. The project is managed and run by professionals with first hand knowledge and experience of mental illness; most of what we do is "service user led".

How are we funded?

The Grapevine Project is supported by funding from:

  • Derbyshire County NHS PCT
  • Tudor Trust
  • Lloyds TSB

Like all small, but well formed charities we could always do more if we had more financial support. If you are inspired by what we do, why not help us to make a difference and send us your money!
